UCC Review

The purpose of the Uniform Commercial Code is to (1) simplify laws governing commercial transactions, (2) permit expansion of commercial practices through custom, usage and agreement and (3) make the law uniform among various jurisdictions. UCC is not federal law; each state has a similar version. The bulk sales act has been repealed in several states including Florida. References to UCC appear in various places in other state laws.
